Questions.
What is Cowl?
A vault for trading Pons coins on Robinhood Chain without showing your hand. You deposit ETH or a coin, place orders that stay encrypted until their batch closes, and withdraw to any address you like.
Who can see my order before it fills?
Nobody. Your browser encrypts it to a drand round, a public randomness beacon that publishes a new value every three seconds. Until that round is out the order cannot be read by anyone, the operator included. After it, anyone can read it, which is how anyone can check the batch was settled honestly.
What price do I get?
Every order on a coin in one batch gets the same price. Buyers and sellers are matched with each other at the market's mid price first, with no venue fee on that part. Only the leftover trades on the coin's Pons curve, or its Uniswap v4 pool once it has graduated, and that part pays the usual 1% plus the coin's creator tax.
What if the price moves past my limit?
Your order is turned down and your position stays exactly as it was. The batch that settles says so, and the app shows it.
Can people see what I hold?
The chain sees that a wallet deposited, and that some address received a withdrawal. In between, what you hold sits under one-time keys made from your wallet's signature, recorded only as entries in Merkle sum trees. Nothing links a position to the wallet that funded it.
Which coins work?
Any Pons coin paired with ETH. If one is not listed yet, paste its address in the coin picker and add it with one transaction. The Pons factory is the only authority on what counts as a Pons coin.
What if the operator disappears?
If 48 hours pass with no batch, a closed batch waits more than an hour to settle, or an exit you demand on chain goes unanswered for a day, anyone can freeze the vault. After that, every position is withdrawable by its owner straight from their wallet with a proof the app builds from public data.
What does it cost?
Cowl takes no fee. You pay gas for your deposit; the relay pays for posting your order and the operator for the batch that pays you out.
